Joe’s Two Cents is rooted in finding humor among the things we experience in our daily lives. Most times, I think I succeed. It’s very gratifying when someone comes up to me in the supermarket and says “You read my mind! That’s exactly what I was thinking!” Thankfully, I haven’t had to coach anyone to say that yet, although I once offered to pay for a can of peas in one lady’s hand, when she approached me in the produce aisle, with a nice compliment.

About the Author

Joe Paradis moved to Londonderry, New Hampshire in 1984 and in 2004, began writing a weekly humor column for his local community newspaper, The Londonderry Times. That column, Joe’s Two Cents, earned him the Humor Columnist of the Year award for both 2005 and 2006, from the New Hampshire Press Association.  Its stories are the basis for this book.
