About the Author
Frankie is a songwriter who makes his home on Cape Cod and Juno Beach, Florida. His family consists of his forgiving wife, Alicia, and their two wonderful children, Frankie IV (a.k.a. Boo Boo), and Gigi (Punka Punka) Spellman. Frankie believes his sister Susan is one of the greatest illustrators in the known world, and he is excited about working with her on future children’s stories. About the Illustrator
Susan Spellman began her career illustrating educational filmstrips of fairy tales and folklore before illustrating more than thirty books for children. She has received Gold Mom's Choice awards for both Satchi and Little Star and Where is Simon, Sandy? by Donna Marie Seim. She also illustrated Sara Hoagland Hunter's award-winning book, Every Turtle Counts. Her studio is in Newburyport, Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband Jay and their lovely daughters.
