About the Author

Dr. James Kohn is a native of Brookline, Massachusetts. He attended high school and medical training in the Boston metropolitan area and his college and surgical training have been New England based in Brunswick and Portland, Maine, and Burlington, Massachusetts. His pilot training began as a simple flight along the Maine coast and left him with the inspiration to compose his first book, Favorite New England Airports. Upon relocating to Dallas, Texas, Kohn began exploring the southwestern portion of the United States.
