Publish With Us

At Peter E. Randall Publisher, we offer a personal service for each client, ensuring that each book produced is of the highest quality. We provide editing, indexing, cover design, typesetting, printing and binding. We consult with each author or group, from the early stages of manuscript preparation, and continue working closely from the first page proof, until bound books arrive. Our titles are listed with Books-In-Print and available from major book wholesalers such as Baker & Taylor. We offer full national trade distribution, or an order fulfillment service, depending upon the client’s needs. We provide a contract and develop a publication plan for each client. Each book is designed individually, to the client's specifications.

The details of each project dictate the cost of each publication. We provide complete publication services in the four major areas:

1. Manuscript preparation —We provide copyediting online or in hard copy, detailed indexing, proofreading and keyboarding when needed.
2. Book design —Our designers offer creative, eye-catching design that showcases the content for interior pages and covers. Once design is approved, we create the book in a professional layout program, such as Quark XPress or InDesign. We specialize in image preparation and placement. Our files match printer specifications.
3. Printing and binding —Our goal is creating high-quality bound books, by choosing the appropriate paper and binding materials, as well as the best printer for each project. Our jackets or covers are glossy or matt; they can include spot varnish or embossing.
4. Marketing and distribution efforts —We offer collection of funds from book sales, order fulfillment and shipping, catalog mailings, print-to-order and e-book programs. Through Blueline Publicity we create marketing plans, write news releases, seek reviews, create promotional websites and title submission to book distributors. We design and place advertising and coordinate promotional mailings. When making plans to publish, consideration must be given to each of these areas.
